The United Nations Global Compact, launched in 2000, is an international initiative that aims to get companies to commit to align strategies and operations based on 10 universal principles and to take measures that promote sustainable development for society as a whole.
These are the 10 principles:

Labour
3. Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the rights to collective bargaining
4.Businesses should uphold the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour
5.Businesses should uphold the effective abolition of child labour
6.Businesses should uphold the elimination of discreimination in respect of employment and occupation
Environment
7.Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges
8.Businesses should undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility
9.Businesses should promote the development and diffusion of environmentally frendly technologies
Anti-corruption
10.Business should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
By involving thousands of companies of all sizes and sectors around the world, we are working to create a truly global movement of responsible companies that integrate sustainability into their core strategies and operations for the benefit of society as well as for their own.
That is why we at Lenda are part of such initiatives. Because we know that it’s necessary to take a step forward and ensure the development of our community, society and environment by doing so in a way that is beneficial to business but at the same time sustainable and responsible. Because that is the path we must all take.
Only through real collaboration will we be able to create change in companies by making them responsible and committed to the world we want to live in
We are already working on it. And you, what footprint do you want to leave in the world?
